Introducing Little Rhythms: A Free Baby Schedule Tool I Built for Myself

Full transparency — I didn't build Little Rhythms because I had it all figured out. I built it at 9 months pregnant with my second because I was already anxious about surviving the newborn schedule again, this time with a toddler in the mix.
The first time around, I found wake windows and feeding intervals really helpful to follow. But doing that math in my head all day, every day, while running on no sleep? It just didn't work. I needed something that would take the guesswork out of it — and I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So I built it myself.
That's Little Rhythms. And now I'm sharing it, because I genuinely think it can help other moms too.
So, what is it exactly?

Little Rhythms is a free baby schedule tool that gives you a personalized framework for how your day might look with your baby. You put in your baby's age and the time they woke up that morning, and it generates a full daily schedule — nap times, wake windows, and feeding intervals — all based on what's developmentally appropriate for where your baby is right now.
Is it going to go exactly as planned? Absolutely not. 😂 But it gives you a starting point. It helps you figure out things like when you actually have a window to run to the grocery store, or gives you something to hand a grandparent who's watching the baby for a few hours and has no idea what comes next.
What does it actually show you?
When you generate a schedule, you'll see:
Your baby's current wake windows (how long they should be awake between naps, based on their age)
Expected number of naps for the day
Expected number of feedings, with guidance on timing and spacing
A time-stamped breakdown of the whole day — from good morning to bedtime, with each nap, wake window, and feeding mapped out
Night sleep info — what to expect overnight for your baby's age, including night feedings and typical sleep stretches
The schedule adjusts everything from your baby's actual wake time, so if your baby slept in until 8am, it's not going to tell you nap time started at 9am sharp. It works with your real day, not an imaginary one.
Who is it for?
It works from newborn (0 weeks) all the way up to 24 months, which means it grows with your baby through all the schedule changes that first year — and into toddlerhood. Nap transitions especially. If you've ever had a baby drop a nap and had to completely recalculate your whole day, you know exactly what I mean.
To show you how much the schedule changes as babies grow, here's the difference between a 4-week-old schedule (5 naps, 8-12 feedings, wake windows of just 35-60 minutes) versus a 6-month-old schedule (3 naps, 5-6 feedings, wake windows of 2-3 hours):
It's also great if you're the type who likes a loose framework but not a rigid schedule. You don't have to follow it to the minute — it's a roadmap, not a rule book.
What about the free account?
You can use Little Rhythms without creating an account at all, but signing up (also free!) unlocks some really helpful extras:
Save your child's info so the schedule auto-calculates without re-entering details every time
Add multiple children — great for when you have a toddler and a newborn at the same time (hi, that's me 🙋)
Log feedings — track breast, bottle, and solids to fine-tune your routine
Track foods introduced — including a top 9 allergen tracker for babies starting solids at 6+ months
Edit and adjust — tweak nap or feeding times and the rest of the day shifts automatically
A note on where things are
Little Rhythms is still getting some refinements. I'm building this in real time, and I wanted to get it out there rather than wait for it to be perfect. If you use it and have feedback, I genuinely want to hear it — there's a link right in the app to share suggestions.
The goal is for this to keep getting better, especially as I'm about to be back in the newborn trenches myself and will be using it firsthand. 🤰

And if it helps you survive a Tuesday — that's exactly why I built it. 🪿
